Points and miles travel deals for April: Earn with these offers

Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for April.

Offer alert: Earn 100,000 bonus points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred for a limited time.

If you have Cathay Pacific Asia Miles — or one of the four credit card currencies that transfer to Asia Miles — burning a hole in your pocket, this promo can save you miles on your next redemption.

• Receive a 5,000-mile rebate when you redeem Asia Miles for economy-class flights between Hong Kong and select long-haul destinations, including Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco.
• Round-trip ticket(s) originating from Hong Kong or the other selected destinations are eligible for this offer, but multi-city redemptions with transit are not eligible.

Earn up to 25,000 AAdvantage miles on a cruise

American Airlines AAdvantage miles are tough to earn since the program no longer has any credit card transfer partners. Members can earn 1 mile and 1 Loyalty Point per dollar spent on cruises booked through the airline’s platform — and with this promotion, you can earn up to 25,000 bonus miles when you sail away on Norwegian Cruise Line.

• Earn bonus miles on select Norwegian Cruise Line sailings of seven nights or longer departing on or before Dec. 31. Earn 1,000 bonus miles for interior and oceanview bookings, 10,000 bonus miles for balconies and 25,000 bonus miles for suites.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (April 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. Here are some April deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Double your rewards at Choice Hotels

If you’re still planning your spring travels, you can earn double the Choice Privileges points on every stay at most Choice properties with this promotion:

• Earn double base points on all qualifying stays at participating Choice hotels. Bonus points are not eligible for elite bonuses.
• This promotion excludes the following brands: WoodSpring Suites, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites and Suburban Studios.
• To qualify, stays must be booked via the Choice Hotels website, the Choice Hotels mobile app or by phone at 800.4CHOICE. Stays directly booked through Book by Google are also eligible if the member adds their Choice Privileges number to the reservation prior to check-in. Corporate travelers may book through their online booking tool, a Global Distribution System or with a travel agent. However, reservations booked through Egencia’s Preferred Rate Program do not qualify.
• Register first, then book and stay by May 14.

Earn 15,000 Marriott points in Greece and Portugal

Dreaming of a Mediterranean getaway? Marriott Bonvoy is offering bonus rewards when you stay at its luxurious Domes Resorts in Greece and Portugal.

• Earn bonus Bonvoy points when you stay five or more nights at Domes Resorts in Crete, Corfu, Zante and Santorini in Greece or the Algarve region of Portugal. You’ll get 15,000 bonus points per stay for Haute Living Selection rooms or 10,000 bonus points per stay for other room types.
• Plus, enjoy additional VIP perks like a local vineyard wine bottle, an organic fruit basket and free kids club services where applicable.

Credit card promotions (April 2025)

Card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Remember that you must activate these offers on your card and use your enrolled card to make the purchase to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at Delta

This Amex Offer, which we found on The Platinum Card® from American Express, could save you up to 20% on your next Delta flight booked through Amex Travel. Plus, this card earns 5 Membership Rewards points per dollar on flights booked through the portal or directly with the airlines (up to $500,000 per calendar year, then 1 point per dollar).

• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend $500 in one or more purchases on Delta-marketed flights through Amex Travel.
• Enroll by April 25; purchase your flight(s) by July 31.

Targeted Amex Offer at Micato Safaris

If an African safari is on your bucket list, this Amex Offer could save you up to 20% at luxury safari outfitter Micato. We spotted it on the American Express® Gold Card.

• Get a one-time $400 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $2,000 in one or more purchases on safari reservations at Micato Safaris.
• Book by phone at 1-800-642-2861 by Oct. 14.

Targeted Chase Offer at Hyatt Place

This offer, which we found on the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, could save you some cash on your next Hyatt Place stay. Since you’ll need to make the payment directly with the hotel, you’ll still earn World of Hyatt points and elite night credits.

• Earn 7% cash back on your Hyatt Place stay, up to a $28 cash back maximum, when you spend $100 or more by May 31.
• Offer valid in-store at participating locations in the U.S. and online at U.S. Hyatt website only.

• Earn up to 7,000 bonus points total at participating Radisson Rewards properties: 500 points for your first stay, 3,000 points for your second stay and 3,500 points for your third stay. Register for this promotion, then book and stay by April 24.
• Earn unlimited double Hilton Honors points on every stay at any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio. Register, book and complete your stay(s) by April 30.
• Earn double ITA Airways Volare points on ITA-operated flights from select U.S. cities to Rome. See full terms and conditions here. Book your flight by April 30 and travel between May 4 and June 30.
• Earn 1,000 Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles on your next stay at any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio, in addition to the Hilton Honors points you’d normally earn. Register and book by April 30, then complete your stay by June 30.
• Earn 5,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for joining the program and completing your first stay. You must register and complete your first stay within 21 days of joining. You have until April 30 to register and stay.
• Earn double Marriott Bonvoy points on paid Marriott Homes & Villas stays of three or more nights. Register and book by May 4. The offer applies to stays between May 1 and Sept. 30.
• Receive a $50 Best Western gift card when you stay two nights between now and May 11 at any Best Western hotel in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean. You can use this promotion up to two times for a maximum of two $50 gift cards per member. Gift cards will expire Aug. 3.
• Earn 2,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per night — up to a maximum of 10,000 bonus points — when you stay at one of six New Orleans properties. Book with promo code “S2449” and complete your stay by May 15.
• Earn triple IHG One Rewards points on every eligible paid stay in Germany. Register and book directly by May 31, then complete your stay(s) by July 6.
• Earn 777 bonus World of Hyatt points per eligible night, up to 10 nights total, at 20 participating casino hotels and resorts worldwide. Register first, then stay between April 10 and June 9.
• Earn 20% bonus Accor Live Limitless points on qualifying bookings you make through the app by June 30. Download the app.
• Earn up to 1,500 bonus HawaiianMiles on car rentals at participating Avis and Budget locations in the U.S. when you add your HawaiianMiles number to your reservation at booking and complete your rental by July 31. • Earn double Accor Live Limitless points on stays at participating properties in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Panama and Brazil. Activate this offer and book by July 31, and you’ll earn bonus points on stays through Sept. 12.

Additionally, many stand-alone Amex and Chase offers are still available across a variety of credit cards. Keep in mind that these offers are targeted. You need to activate them prior to making an eligible purchase to receive cash back, bonus points or miles.

• Earn $60 as a statement credit when you spend at least $300 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories. This offer expires April 30.
• Earn a one-time $300 statement credit when you spend at least $2,000 on one or more Qatar Airways purchases (must be Qatar-operated flights booked online in dollars). This offer expires April 30.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend at least $500 on one or more room rate and lift ticket purchases at participating Vail Resort properties. Book online or at 800-432-3186 by April 30.
• Earn $50 as a statement credit when you spend at least $250 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties by April 30.
• Earn a one-time $60 statement credit when you spend at least $300 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Viceroy Hotels and Resorts in U.S. cities. Book through Viceroy’s website by May 5.
• Earn a one-time $300 statement credit when you spend at least $1,500 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Viceroy Hotels and Resorts in the U.S. and Mexico. Book through Viceroy’s website by May 5.
• Earn an extra 5 Membership Rewards points per eligible dollar spent (up to 50,000 bonus points) on your AmaWaterways purchase. This offer ends May 6.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $500 on a single purchase on room rate and room charge purchases at participating Mandarin Oriental properties in the U.S. and Europe by May 6.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $400 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating SLS Hotels in the U.S. and select global locations. Prepaid bookings are excluded. Book through the SLS website by May 14.
• Earn a one-time $200 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $1,000 on one or more purchases on Trafalgar tour packages and vacations booked online at the Trafalgar U.S. website or by phone at 866-544-4434. This offer expires May 22.
• Earn a $200 statement credit after spending at least $900 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at Four Seasons properties in the U.S. and select international destinations. This offer expires May 29.
• Earn an additional 5 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent (up to 50,000 bonus points) on qualifying Oceania Cruises bookings. Book through Oceania’s website, by calling 855-623-2642 or through an Oceania Cruise travel adviser by June 1.
• Earn one promotional free day with National Emerald Club (covers base rate, time and mileage only) for every two eligible midsize or larger vehicle rentals of at least two consecutive days. Register and complete your qualifying rentals by June 22.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend at least $500 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Preferred Hotels & Resorts in the U.S. and globally. Book by June 23.
• Earn a one-time $200 statement credit when you spend $1,000 in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at participating Hilton properties in Mexico and the Caribbean by June 30. See participating properties (pdf).
• Earn 8% back as a statement credit (up to $100 maximum in total statement credits) after you make one or more purchases of prepaid hotel bookings (“pay now”) online at hotels.com/amex. This offer ends July 7.
• Earn 12% back (up to $350 in total statement credits) on Luxury Escapes bookings made through the Luxury Escapes website, app or phone line. This offer ends July 15.

Targeted Chase Offers

• Earn 10% cash back on your Best Western stay, up to a $32 cash-back maximum, when you spend $100 or more on a single purchase directly with the merchant at domestic properties of Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Premier, Vib, Glo, Aiden and Executive Residency. You must make the complete payment for your stay by April 21.
• Earn 15% cash back (up to $50 maximum) on your U.S. RVshare rental purchase, including taxes and after any discounts. The payment must be made online directly with the merchant by April 30.
• Earn $40 cash back on your Palladium Hotel Group stay when you spend $100 or more in a single purchase directly with the merchant. This offer ends May 1.
• Earn 7% cash back (up to $28 maximum) on your Thompson Hotels stay when you spend $100 or more. Complete payment for your stay must be made directly with the merchant by May 2.
• Earn 7% cash back (up to $28 maximum) on your Park Hyatt stay when you spend $100 or more. Complete payment for your stay must be made directly with the merchant by May 2.
• Earn $30 cash back when you spend $150 or more in a single purchase with car-sharing service Turo, including taxes and after any discounts, by May 23.
• Earn 10% cash back on your Candlewood Suites stay (up to a $62 cash back maximum) when you spend $100 or more. You must make the payment directly with the merchant by May 31.
• Earn 10% cash back on your Crowne Plaza stay (up to a $62 cash back maximum) when you spend $100 or more directly with the hotel by May 31.
