Here’s what the Xiaomi 16 looks like
The Xiaomi 16 is expected to be unveiled in late September, right after Qualcomm announces the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC that will be powering it. Ahead of that, today we have an alleged CAD-based sketch of the device to look at, showing us its design.
As you can see, it’s a refinement of the Xiaomi 15’s design, with the squircle camera island placed at the top left of the rear. It will interestingly be a two-tone design, which we can get a better idea of by looking at the render below, created based on the sketch above.
So, overall, nothing really that’s out of the ordinary, it just seems like a natural progression of Xiaomi’s design language for its smallest flagship. According to past rumors, the Xiaomi 16 is getting a periscope telephoto camera, and a display size between 6.32″ and 6.36″.
The Xiaomi 16 is apparently going to have an enormous 6,800 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. It’s also claimed to have the best screen for a device of its size.
