2025 NBA Draft No. 1 pick odds: Flagg heavily favored to go first

First the NFL Draft, then the NBA one.
Nothing connects the two basketball stratospheres — the NBA and college hoops — quite like the NBA Draft.Â
Who will go No. 1 when the draft kicks off on June 25?
Check out the early odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of April 21.Â
2025 NBA Draft No. 1 pick
Cooper Flagg: -20000 (bet $10 to win $10.05 total)
Dylan Harper: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Ace Bailey: +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)
VJ Edgecombe: +6000 (bet $10 to win $610 total)
What is there left to say about the freshman Flagg?Â
The 6-foot-9 forward put up 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in his one season at Duke, guiding them to the Final Four. And with that, it has long been an afterthought that he would go No. 1 in June.Â
So who else is in the running?
The odds say no one, but second and third on the board are two Rutgers freshman stars who have been mentioned in the same breath as Flagg, and that’s Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey.
Harper is a 6-foot-6 PG who put up 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists for the Scarlet Knights.Â
As for Bailey, at 6-foot-10, he is a scoring dynamo who averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds.
