American League Rookie of the Year 2025

What to know: Jacob Wilson has starred for the not-so-bad Athletics, who are hovering around .500. On the season, he is hitting an impressive .321, with three home runs and 14 RBIs in 28 games. As for Kristian Campbell, the Red Sox rookie is batting  .305 with three homers and an .886 OPS in 27 games.

National League Rookie of the Year 2025

What to know: Roki Sasaki joining the Dodgers was arguably the biggest free-agent news of the offseason. Sasaki, 23, was a star in Japan’s top league (Nippon Professional Baseball) over the past few years, pitching a perfect game in April 2022 and tying Shohei Ohtani for the fastest pitch in NPB history in April 2023. MLB.com named him the top prospect in baseball heading into the 2025 campaign. Sasaki has pitched 25.1 innings this season, giving up 10 earned runs and walking 18, while striking out 20.
